Inclusive & Sustainable Agribusiness Development: Are we fit for purpose?

Global | | Geneva

The complexity of inclusive agri-business development creates both opportunities and challenges for producers, SMEs, MNCs and governments. How can we ensure that trade and development efforts deliver sustainable impact for the rural poor?

On the 1st March a series of peer discussions will bring invited only guests to discuss in an informal setting a range of perspectives to share and examine key trends and innovations, and better understand the implications for inclusive growth. The 2nd March conference will open the discussions to a broader audience.

International Trade Centre

The International Trade Centre (ITC) is the only development agency that is fully dedicated to supporting the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This means that the agency enables SMEs in developing and transition economies to become more competitive and connect to international markets for trade and investment, thus raising incomes and creating job opportunities, especially for women, young people, and poor communities. Established in 1964, the International Trade Centre (ITC) is the joint agency of the World Trade Organization and the United Nations.
