The 2024 publication of the State of Food and Agriculture (SOFA) report builds on the theme of the true cost of food introduced in 2023. Recognising the benefits and hidden costs of agrifood systems for environmental, social and economic sustainability is crucial for achieving food systems transformation.
This report from a collaboration between the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) and Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) provides a mapping of climate-smart technologies aimed at smallholder farmers in 10 programme countries.Â
The Food Systems Architecture Database, developed by the Global Donor Platform for Rural Development, is an interactive tool to map organizations and key initiatives driving food systems transformation. This resource supports partnerships by allowing donors to identify synergies, gaps, and collaboration opportunities. Explore the database in interactive or tabular form, with downloadable tables for further analysis.
