For the seventh time, Canada assumed the Presidency of the G7 from January 1 until December 31, 2025. The G7 group brings together the countries Italy, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America, and in which the European Union also participates. This year also marks the 50th anniversary of the first G7 Summit.
The 2025 G7 Leaders’ Summit will be held in Kananaskis, Alberta, from 15 to 17 June 2025.
