  • The TP4D group has published a White Paper for Policy Formulation and Project Implementation on the topic of territorial approaches for sustainable development.

  • 2017 showed that donor agencies and development finance institutions need to stop thinking in silos and sectors, but rather concentrate on interconnections within and across our development strategies and programs – towards greater realignment, efficiency and more coherent delivery of outcomes and joint impact.

It outlines how the Platform helped different actors to interact and move towards a more coordinated approach to influencing agendas and tackling rural poverty.

  • Between 2017 and 2022, G20 members invested over USD 20 billion in 671 projects related to rural youth employment in Africa. The G20 Initiative for Rural Youth Employment (RYE), launched in 2017, overachieved the targets set to provide employment-related skills to 5 million youth and create 1.1 million jobs by 2022.
