The report marks a critical milestone in the global effort to tackle malnutrition in all its forms.

Building on the foundation set by the 2017 framework, this updated edition expands its scope to address low birthweight and obesity, incorporates gender and climate considerations, and provides practical guidance for country-level implementation.
Malnutrition remains a persistent challenge—threatening human capital, economic growth, and sustainability. As the global nutrition community looks toward the 2025 Paris Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Summit, renewing financial commitments and mobilizing new resources will be essential to achieving lasting impact.
This report is part of the series Human Development Perspectives that addresses main and emerging development issues of a global/regional nature through original research and findings in the area of education, gender, health, nutrition, population, and social protection and jobs.
